Data Import & Export
InSched provides tools for importing data into the system and exporting data for use in other applications.
Letter Import
Import pre-defined letter templates into patient charts. See Letter Import for details on importing letters through the EMR.
Demographic Import
InSched can import patient demographic data from external sources, allowing bulk patient record creation or updates.
Email Schedule Export
Automated email export sends schedule reports on a configured schedule. See Email Schedule Export for configuration details.
Schedule Export Options
InSched supports several methods for exporting schedule data:

EMR Export
From the EMR Viewer, individual documents can be exported:
- Export File — Save a chart document to disk
- Create PDF — Generate PDF files from selected chart documents
Data Backup
Regular backups of the InSched database are essential. Work with your IT administrator to configure automated backups of the database files.
