Outlook Integration
InSched can export schedule data to Microsoft Outlook calendars, allowing providers and staff to view their appointments on mobile devices and other Outlook-connected platforms.
Accessing Outlook Setup
Select Setup > Setup Outlook Link from the menu.
Configuration
Enable Export
Check Enable Export to activate Outlook synchronization.
Outlook Settings
| Setting | Description |

| Category | The Outlook calendar category name for exported events |
| Sub Folder | The Outlook calendar subfolder to export into |
Time Range
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Days in Past | Number of days before today to include |
| Days in Future | Number of days after today to include |
Export Schedule
Configure when automatic exports occur:
- Scheduled Export Time — Time of day to run the export
- Day checkboxes (Sunday through Saturday) — Which days to run the export
- Scheduled Export Disabled — Check to suspend automatic exports
Export Options
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Leave Old Events | Keep previously exported events that are no longer in the schedule |
| Detailed Info | Include detailed appointment information (patient name, plan info, etc.) |
Resource Selection
Click Select Resources to choose which provider/resource schedules to export. The selected resources are displayed below the button.
Last Export
The Last Export timestamp shows when the most recent export occurred.
How It Works
- Configure the Outlook link settings
- Select the resources to export
- Set the schedule for automatic exports
- InSched exports matching appointments to the specified Outlook calendar at the scheduled time
- Appointments appear in Outlook with the configured category
